Emilia Gamundi

Born and raised in the Dominican Republic, Emilia discovered her passion for photography as a means to capture the essence of everyday life. While pursuing the genuine portrayal of people in their natural state, Emilia found inspiration in street photography, focusing on capturing authentic moments that tell stories beyond what meets the eye. In 2018, Emilia’s work was featured in her school’s Literary Arts Magazine, “(th)Ink Stains Vol. III,” showcasing photographs from her experiences in both the Dominican Republic and Cuba. Currently residing in Washington DC, and exploring the broader world, photography remains a cherished hobby and an inventive activity, allowing her to continuously expand and explore her creative boundaries.
